(The bill that will be in front of the house hopefully this Thursday would allow judges to modify mortgages in bankruptcy – right now bankruptcy judges can modify any loan or mortgage except a first mortgage on a personal residence – an exception that the banks lobbied congress to make. We can change that now – please let the voters’ voices be heard!)
