Important - Banks are Freezing Home Equity Lines

I am hearing from many of our clients that banks are freezing home equity lines. If this is your source of rainy day funds, I suggest you deposit what you need in a savings account with a good interest rate. (Check out www.bankrate.com for some of the best rates on savings.) I personally like and use www.ingdirect.com because it is easy to transfer money back and forth and it generally has a high interest rate. Obviously, make sure your deposit will be fully insured by the FDIC.
